Special Report - Work at Home Internet Scams

How To Identify And Avoid
Data Entry Scams
And Other Such Garbage

Have you seen this scam before? The image below was taken from a website selling info on Top Home Jobs. It's supposedly a job for Data Entry and the work you do is entering data into these forms.

Do you know what this form is?

Well, here it is again.

Recognize it now?

No, you probably don't.

Especially if you were merely looking for a job online doing data entry or typing.

It's the form all Adwords Advertisers fill out when placing their Pay Per Click (PPC) ads at Google Adwords!

What these shysters don't tell you is, you're the sucker who will be paying Google for these ads.

If they were honest, they'd say,

"The Data Entry/Typing 'job' you'll be doing, is Affiliate Marketing, selling digital products through Clickbank. You'll be an independent contractor, using Google Adwords Advertising as a means of promotion.  And the 'commission' you'll be paid, is from sales (if any!) of the product you'll be selling. If the commissions received exceed the cost of the click-throughs on your Adwords, that's your 'pay'! Now we know that the majority of brand new Adwords advertisers don't make a cent, in fact they actually lose money. But we don't care, 'cause we'll already have your money! What you'll really be doing, is running a full-on, Online Marketing Business, but if we told you that, you wouldn't pay us all that wonderful money you suckers job seekers send us!"

Yes folks, it's called Affiliate Marketing. And please believe me... MOST Newbies who start Affiliate Marketing with Adwords advertising, DON'T make money!

Now, please understand... advertising your business with Google through their Adwords, is a perfectly honorable, ethical and honest process. Untold thousands of Online Marketers use Adwords every day... profitably. I do.

But for a "Work At Home" outfit to disguise this as a Data Entry/Typing job, is extremely UN-ethical, dis-honorable and disgusting! (read S.C.A.M.)

The tricky sales letter then goes on to list fake testimonials. Yes fake! I've seen the same testimonial on 3 different websites, all attributed to 3 different people! Yes, it's illegal, but they won't let that minor detail stand in the way.

Then to 'prove' how much money you can make, they show you a bar graph, listing fortnightly payments earned. Fake! Again, I've seen the exact same graph, showing the exact same dates and amounts, on 2 different websites, attributed to 2 different people.

Wanna see?  They're actually graphs of someone's Clickbank Account. You can bet it's not from someone doing "Data Entry"!

Ok... scroll down about half way and look for an image like this -

The sales page then goes on to show pictures of flash cars, private jets, luxury homes, swimming pools, Mom and Dad spending quality time with the kids... suggesting, of course, that this can all be yours if you'll just give 'em $49.00... or more.

If you do, you'll blow your $49.00 that's for sure and certain. Just go stand on a bridge and throw fifty bucks in the river... it will be far less stressful than realizing you've been conned!

Notice also this sneaky little trick that's used a lot, even on some legitimate websites. In the case of our Data Entry scammer, they say...

to $49.00

To create a sense of urgency and to get you to buy now, they use the old "only available 'till______" ploy. It's nothing more than a script that inserts the current date into the page.

Bookmark this page of mine you're reading now and come back tomorrow... the dates below will show tomorrow's date.  (CtrlD will Bookmark in Firefox/Favorites in InternetExplorer)

Do you like the red one?
Or do you prefer the blue?
Maybe the green one suits you best?

The point is, don't be fooled... it will always be that 'reduced' price. But you don't want it at any price!

The Better Business Bureau slammed one sleazy outfit called DataEntryBusiness.com - you can read it here. I just checked again and I see DataEntryBusiness.com has moved on. But I'll bet anything you like, they've just changed their name and started their scamming activities again.

Not all "data entry/typing" scams involve Google Adwords. Another popular one is filling out applications to become an affiliate marketer. Yet another involves filling in data fields in online software that ends up spewing spam ads all over the Internet in forums and blogs.

Here's Another Scam Along Similar Lines...

- Rebate Processing Jobs -
This scam is even worse than the Type At Home/Data Entry Scam... if that's possible!

At Home Rebate Processing
20 Rebates a Day = $2100 a Week
$109,500 a Year! 100% Guarantee.
www.RebatexxxxxxxxxJob.com

Heck, I didn't know it was sooo easy! $109,000/year doing only 20 rebates a day!

Then There's This Scammy Twist...

Realizing that a lot of people are waking up to their little scam, a lot of scumbags have hit on the idea of setting up "Review Sites" somewhat similar to ours.

They tell you,

"Yes, most of these opportunities are scams, but some aren't. We've researched literally hundreds of these deals and have been able to narrow them down to just these 3 or 4 honest, reliable opportunities."

Now, again, not all review sites are scams. We all know that. But these scumbags take advantage of the trust people have in reviews and use it to continue peddling their trash!

It makes me sick!

Please... please... please, don't fall for this garbage!

As I said earlier, when you're ready for Google Adwords, and I'm sure you will be in time, there's a very good, honorable and legitimate method I can recommend to you. It's reviewed here at this site. Until then, please tread warily.

Sincerely,

David.
